Be aware of a new "HMRC" scam phishing for your data
I received this text today supposedly from HMRC but it looked suspicious on a number of fronts...

Text from HM.GOVT Unique Reference No: UK7168. We have recalculated your fiscal activity for the year 2017/2018. Fill out the form at bit.ly
The linkgoes through to a site call secure1-gov.co.uk which on the surface looks genuine. However, UK government sites do not end in .co.uk, they end in.gov.
Upon further investigattion it seems that the site was only created and registered today (24th Aug 2018). It is one of many ongoing scams so always be aware of such text and emails.
