Please Press 1 featured on the BBC 1 show 'Rip Off Britain' this morning. Famous for campaigning for Consumer Rights, in this episode Rip Off Britain tackled the thorny issue of Automated Phone Menus and long call times in Customer Service Centres.
So it was rather fitting that they dropped in on the Please Press 1 office to find out how Nigel started the campaign, and how the website can help callers save time, money and frustration. It's great to have been part of a show that truly puts the consumer first.
We received many thousands of new visitors and supporters of Please Press 1 following the show and lots of messages of support for what continues to be the a major bugbear of many peoples lives.
