ONLY CALL IF FLYING IN NEXT 48 HOURS: You will hear the following message and then have your call answered or get in a queue - we were answered straight away (09.30 2/10/17) which was impressive. "The CAA and government are arranging new flights for all Monarch passengers due to fly back to the UK on or before the 15th of October. We will endeavour to schedule these flights as close as possible to the original date and time of your return flight. Your holiday will not be cut short. ATOL protected customers will be flown back to the UK free of charge even if their return flight is after the 15th of October. New flights are being arranged in order of your original date and time of departure. This is a major operation however and although the CAA is working around the clock to organise these flights for 100,00 affected customers, there may be some delays to flights and people may have to fly home a little later than they planned. Details of these flights will be provided on our dedicated website monarch.caa.co.uk as and when they are confirmed. Our priority is for customer who are due to fly back in the next 48 hours. If you are due to fly back to the UK after this, do not worry and continue to enjoy your holiday as planned. Check our website at monarch.caa.co.uk. Do not go to the airport before your flight details are confirmed on the website as airport staff will not be able to arrange flights for you."

More information is available on Monarch.caa.co.uk .If your holiday or air travel is ATOL protected we are taking steps to ensure customers can continue to stay in your existing accommodation until your new flight departure day.
